'Winners Of The Draw Slimer! Contest' zine

Kind of a new Bad Teeth book.. but there's no Bad Teeth art in it, so i don't what it really is. All I know is that I spent all day making it from scratch this morning.. now it is 3:11pm and I've taken photos of all the pages for you to see. Pretty cool that this thing didn't even exist anywhere but in my mind when I woke up this morning..

I came across a bunch of old Ghostbusters comics a few days ago, and there were tonnes of pictures of Slimer that kids had drawn and sent in to the fan art section. During the first 6 months of the competition over 30,000 entries were sent in. Slimer was king. I chose my favourites and created a mini notebook full of 'em.

I'm thinking of printing up 50 of these babies.. get in contact with me, and I'll swap you for a copy of your own zine..

Jim Lee + Stan Lee Master Class

Holy fuck, I had completely forgotten about these videos.. I managed to grab a couple of the VHS tapes here in Australia when I was about 14 and I flipped out over this shit. I think the ones I had were a Todd McFarlane session and another one with Rob Liefeld + McFarlane creating the Overkill character with Stan Lee.

Anyways, this set of videos features Jim Lee, pretty much the king of comic book artwork in the last 20 years. This guy kills it.. I remember reading a story about how he was on his way to becoming a surgeon when he finally broke into working for DC and then Marvel, and chose comics over medicine of course..
